EliteCare Emergency Center is here for you when you, your family or your friends need urgent medical attention in Houston. We understand that medical care is a choice made by you. We hope that you consider using EliteCare Emergency Center for your emergency care needs.
We understand healthcare bills and health insurance claims can be confusing and frustrating. We try to ensure that the insurance and payment process is as painless as possible. Texas law provides that all fully-funded medical insurance plans must pay for all emergency claims. However, we do not contract with any insurance plans and cannot anticipate accurately what specific rates your plan administrator will apply to our medical services.
You will receive two medical bills; the first from First Street Hospital for facility charges and all radiology and laboratory fees (if applicable), and the second from Greater Houston Emergency Physicians, PLLC for services provided by the physician who treated you. Both accept benefits under most medical insurance plans. To make this process easier for you, we will accept the assignment of any plan benefits and we will file all insurance claim forms on your behalf. We also accept Medicare and Tricare, however, we do not accept Medicaid.
You will be required to pay any deductibles and co-payments at the time of service. In addition, you may be required to complete a credit card voucher to demonstrate financial responsibility for any charge that may not be covered by your insurance plan. In such case, your credit card account will not be billed until after (1) you have received your Explanation of Benefits from your insurance plan provider and (2) we have contacted you, or made reasonable efforts to contact you, regarding the explanation for payment of any balance due.
