Diagnostic X-Rays are imaging devices that allow doctors and specialists to see inside the body at different levels and to properly diagnose certain illnesses or injuries immediately. CT Scans are sometimes called CAT scans and is another imaging device that is regularly used to diagnose emergency situations efficiently. A CT combines different types of x-ray equipment with computers to produce multiple layer pictures of the internal parts of the body. When there is the possibility of internal organ damage, soft tissue damage or blood vessel issues, patients are often put through a CT scan.
