It’s a good practice to have a plan in place should you develop a medical issue that does not require ambulatory transport yet needs urgent medical care. Have you ever thought about when you want to be seen (and not when they will see you)?
EliteCare makes it a business practice to see emergency patients within 15 minutes of arrival or sooner if necessary. We call this “door to doctor.” With multiple doctors, seven (7) rooms, on-site laboratory services and imaging services, we are experts in time management.
Have you ever thought about who you want to treat you in a medical emergency?
EliteCare 24 Hour Emergency Center is owned and operated by emergency room physicians. This Houston emergency clinic is staffed with physicians that are Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and/or emergency trained in hospital emergency departments. These are higher physician staffing standards than those used by many hospital emergency departments in the Houston area.

- Has readily available free parking right at the door – front and back.Have you ever thought about what resources you will have available to you in an emergency clinic?
EliteCare 24 Hour Emergency Center makes available all of the personnel and services that you will find available through a hospital emergency department but dedicates all of these personnel and services exclusively to emergency care. This includes office personnel, registered nurses, paramedics and medical technicians. This includes radiology services (X-ray & CT), laboratory services and pharmacy services. You will find all of these personnel and services in the EliteCare emergency clinic and not in another department in the “hospital”.
EliteCare 24 Hour Emergency Center also has transfer agreements and other arrangements in place that allow us to immediately transfer our patients that require admission to a hospital, to the hospital of his or her choice. We believe that, in many or most instances, we can get a patient admitted to an actual hospital bed as fast as or faster than most hospital emergency departments. We strive to do this for all of those patients that require hospital admission, although less than 10% of patients that seek emergency treatment (other than those arriving by ambulance transport) actually require hospital admission.
Have you ever thought about how you will be treated?
EliteCare 24 Hour Emergency Center treats only emergency patients and these patients are our only focus. We are friendly. We are your neighbors. We greet patients and their families promptly and make each patient our immediate priority. We have no other priorities and no other agenda. The same people will see you throughout your visit. We will immediately communicate all examination and test results to you and your regular physicians.
Compare EliteCare 24 Hour Emergency Center to the Hospital Experience and Choose Wisely
The simple truth is you already know what to expect when you go to a hospital emergency department; access to medical emergency care will be difficult and time consuming. You will have to park somewhere inconvenient. You will wait. You will be directed to a separate registration department. You will wait, again. You will be “triaged”. This means that you will be assigned a priority behind ambulance cases and any other patient needs that the hospital deems more urgent.
The primary purpose of many hospital emergency departments is inpatient admissions and not outpatient services. You will be treated accordingly. You will be directed from department to department for testing and ancillary services. You may never see the same person twice. Your results may or may not be adequately communicated to you and your regular physicians in a timely fashion. You will wait.
