EliteCare Medical Director: Abel Longoria, MD
Abel Longoria, our Medical Director, is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He has worked as an emergency physician at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center since 1999. Abel, has served as the Medical Director for three other freestanding emergency centers. He has also served as the Medical Director for a number of EMS departments and was named the EMS Medical Director of the year for the Greater Houston Area in 2008. Abel is a lifetime Texan and a UTMB graduate. Prior to joining Greater Houston Emergency Physicians, he was an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Emergency Medicine for UTMB.
